Service safari is a non-profit corporation dedicated to walking with adolescents as they journey (safari) to adulthood, develop a personal faith in god and discover purpose in a service oriented life.
Young people today face many challenges. Service Safari provides resources and personalized support for students, parents, schools and churches that help them navigate the transition into the adult world. Our gap year experiences help recent high school gradates discover purpose the develop skills needed for college and career. The college ministry programs help students develop and maintain a personal faith in God in the midst of a secular environment and teach them how to engage their campus for Christ. Our coaching and consulting programs assist young adults and their spiritual communities maintain intentional and mutually beneficial relationships.
Kirk King, the founder and president, has over thirty years of experience teaching, mentoring and pastoring youth and young adults. He is a certified life-coach and is very skilled with helping youth and young adults discover and make use of their personal gifts and passions. He has also developed several tools and resources to help churches and schools create young adult friendly cultures that nurture the whole person.
Service Safari is also affiliated with numerous other organizations and individuals who are experienced and skilled in youth and young adult ministries.
